Peter is an international relations and Middle Eastern affairs researcher who has worked as a founder and Editor of A Little View of the World since 2012. He has been a contributing writer at former site, Conflict and Security and has been developing several projects whilst building a career in publishing.

Peter holds an MA in Geopolitics, Territory and Security from Kings College, London during which time he specialised in terrorism and identity politics, as well as a BA in History and International Relations from Lancaster University, where he specialised in Middle Eastern affairs, development politics and conflict studies.

Peter set up A Little View of the World in May, 2012 as place to explore his take on international affairs and global politics. Since then the site has grown greatly. Peter published his first book, Syria’s Dark Past: The Islamic Uprising (1976-1982) in Sept, 2013 and was also a columnist for former international affairs site, Conflict and Security

Morgan earned her BA in History at Lancaster University. During her studies she became particularly interested in Middle Eastern history and politics. Largely focusing on the Islamic Empire and minority communities, such as the Ismailis. She has completed an MA in History at Lancaster University, during which she has further honed her study of Islamic history.

She first contributed to A Little View of the World in 2012 writing a highly successful article on the Ismaili community and their role in the Middle East of the past and present. She continues to be an important contributor to the site and is looking to publish further articles.

VickyVicky Li, Guest Author (Development, Real Estate and Business)

Vicky earned her BSc in Real Estate Management at Oxford Brookes university. Since then she has gone on to work in Hong Kong with leading real estate management companies, including international firm, Jones Lang Lasalle. With family links to Hong Kong this has provided her with a unique understanding of the economic and business development of Asia and the wider region.

In addition to becoming a guest author for A Little View of the World, Vicky also runs a highly successful blog site, From the Foundations Up, in which she looks at real estate and business development, global retail and economic issues.

Atish is an Indian journalist and writer who writes frequently on International affairs. Upon successful completion of graduation degree in commerce from IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University), he decided not to take on a career in banking or other financial services. Instead he was interested in what was happening elsewhere in the world. Therefore he has continued his studies, including a Master’s degree in International Affairs.

Atish is now determined to make a career within writing and journalism and he has been writing on various issues over the past couple of years. His interest lie largely in the global economy, the environment and globally important issues.

He joined us at A Little View of the World to discuss the global economy and the way it, and other issues, affect the global community.
